All About Us

Dear Parents,

On behalf of the staff, Governors and myself, I would like to welcome you to our school website. I hope that the content and the photographs that we have included on our website will help to give you a taste of what it is like to be part of Honley Infant and Nursery School. We are very proud of our school and recognise that a true picture can not be portrayed in a small booklet and so prospective parents are warmly invited to make an appointment to visit the school prior to registering their child.

Honley C.E. ( C ) Infant and Nursery is a Church school and Christian values are integrated into all aspects of the life and learning of the school. Our children understand that the school logo ‘Caring and Sharing’ is important to us all and sets the standard for the way that all individuals are valued and cared for.

As you read about us you will become aware that we have high standards in all that we do and this is evidenced by the number of national awards that the school has gained and also by Ofsted who graded the school as outstanding in March 2009.

At Honley Infant and Nursery School we are never complacent and we never stand still. We have hard working
staff, parents, children and governors who work together to achieve a shared vision for a school community where everyone can feel safe and happy and can achieve their personal, social and academic potential.

I am always delighted to welcome new parents to our school and I hope that whilst you are with us both you and your child will take the opportunity to be involved in all that the school has to offer.
